About Shockers Baseball

Shockers Baseball Club is a non-profit charitable corporation as determined by IRS 501 (c) (3); our tax identification number is 91-1713549.

The mission of this organization is to provide a platform for young baseball players to be showcased for college and professional scouts. Shockers Baseball Club provides assistance to players in the form of coaching, placement, and traditional regimen of baseball discipline, baseball boot camp.

Each player is evaluated based on ability and need. At all times, the philosophy of Shockers Baseball Club is to provide an environment for learning, integrity, commitment, accountability and sportsmanship. Shockers BB has placed 97% of our players in college programs.

Player fees are common in select baseball ($2000 or more). It costs money to run the teams; fields, uniforms, umpires, and travel are the most costly. Along with auctions; media advertising, donations, and player fees run the team. 2005 Shockers spent $135,000 for two teams, (40 Players) which equals $3375 per player. The difference of the player fee and the cost is made up with public support. Tax Deductible Donations are always welcome, and can be sent to, Shockers Baseball Club 19410 36th Ave W # 12, Lynnwood, WA 98036

The teams start in November of the previous year. Private instruction from the “Shocker Coaches” will exceed 240 hours between November 1 and Memorial Day Weekend. The two teams will play a combined schedule of 130 games from Memorial Day to August 11, 2006.
